New Features in Revelation cloud 2016

Updated help guide and Administration Video tutorials

Help guide has been completely refreshed.

User Interface/Experience Overhaul

New look and feel throughout Revelation, including new icon based main navigation

Any inactive items (clients, types, etc.) will move to the bottom of the appropriate list for clarity.

Gameplan Real time project tracking through Revelation helpdesk. Define workstreams, start/end dates and track performance.
Chat Instant message from within Revelation. Can be set for Internal use only or Internal and External (Client) use.
Revelations Tags for areas of Revelation, putting a short cut in a fly-out available on the right side of the screen.
@ tagging Add a note to a ticket with the user's name (@UserName) and they will be notified via Revelation's Messaging , Activity Feed and/or email.
Backgrounds Backgrounds can be set throughout Revelation, including the login screen, the internal background and backgrounds for the Self-Service Interface.
"Friendly" date or Standard date Shows time as Today, Last Week, etc. or standard date format. Users can select their option, Admins can override the system so all show the same.
Log a Ticket update Log from anywhere within Revelation helpdesk. Create multiple or duplicate tickets from the Log a Ticket screen
Contextual menus When you see an arrow in the lower right of a button, a right-click will open a contextual menu
Move Action Notes Move action notes from one ticket to another, or split them into a new ticket.
Private Action Notes Can be set on as the default state and turned off as needed.
Help Guide Use the provided Help Guide or use your own custom guide.
Drag and Drop attachments Drag attachments into action notes, or click on the image and browse for the attachment
Self Service Interface Present custom dashboard KPIs to end users, and a new Splash Screen helps end users get to what they need quickly
Shared Searches Share Saved Searches with your co-workers via @tagging
Summary Bar Combines Multi-Edit and open ticket controls into a new, cleaner interface
Updated Security Controls More controls available using Team or Access levels.

 

 

Enhanced Features in Revelation cloud 2016

   
Improved Team Control Panel Team Control Panel updated to allow viewing/editing of options associated with each team.
Bold ticket descriptions for unopened ticket When someone adds you to their ticket, or a new ticket is logged and you are added, it will appear on your home page in bold. Once opened, the text reverts to normal.
Search filters streamlined Rather than long lists, the filters have been streamlined for clarity.
Action note editing and deleting Rights can be configured by access level or team
Include/Exclude File Attachments Include OR exclude specific file extensions for attachments.
Updated Security Controls More controls on Action Notes, including who can add, edit, delete or move action notes.
